Depending upon the severity of the disorder, we offer up to 5 individual sessions per week. In most cases we begin with 3 sessions per week and decrease the number of sessions as a function of the client’s ability to manage her recovery with less and less therapeutic support. The sessions focus upon three areas,

1. Identifying and Managing Life Stressors (i.e. academic, job, family dynamics)
2. Identifying and Managing Emotional Triggers
3. Identifying and Managing Nutritional/Medical/Neurochemical Components

The approach combines Mindfullness (identifies the triggers for dysfunctional eating/restricting patterns) and family systems-based psychotherapy (identifies impact of familial patterns that help or hinder the client’s progress).
