One Of My Favorite Supplements

Today I’m going to talk about one of my favorite supplements, Resveratrol.  Talk about the fountain of youth! Resveratrol just may be it. 🙂

Here are just a few of the things that it has been shown to do:

• Heart disease: Resveratrol helps reduce inflammation, and prevents the oxidation that causes arteries to clog

• Cancer: Resveratrol is thought to limit the spread of cancer cells and trigger a process that promotes healing

• Alzheimer’s disease: Resveratrol may protect nerve cells from damage and the buildup of plaque in the brain that results  in dementia

• Diabetes: Resveratrol helps prevent insulin resistance, which,  if you have been following my work, you know is what really causes blood sugar levels to rise, followed by weight gain and ultimately type 2 diabetes

My favorite source for the best Resveratrol is a company by the name of Reserveage.  They make a very high-quality product in general, but in particular with regard to their Resveratrol. I buy it in the 500 mg per capsule version.

I discovered this amazing supplement about six or seven years ago and have been using it ever since.

The first thing I noticed when I began using it was the difference in the way my skin looked. I’m talking about the skin on my face. Within an hour of taking the supplement, the lines on my face seemed to disappear… It’s hard to describe, but there was such a noticeable difference in the youthfulness of my face that I even took a before and after picture LOL. These days I don’t think the before and after picture would work because in general my skin just looks younger. I am assuming that after all of these years of taking it consistently, it has had a cumulative effect,  in other words I have fewer wrinkles than I used to have and the skin is healthier, fuller. (I promise! It is not because I had “something” done.)

If you give it a try though do the before and after test. Take a picture of your face, take the supplement, wait an hour and take another picture of your face. Send us the results and we will post them 🙂

In the meantime eat clean, rest well, and connect with the people that you love…
