Joint Pain?

Do you have joint pain? If so, you need to try some of my Collagen Coco!

Couple of days ago I realized that my knees, in particular my right knee, which is my bad knee, was really bothering me for some reason. Normally it doesn’t. I realized I hadn’t had my regular dose of collagen in a couple of days. Since I had just finished up a smoothie batch and because it’s almost summer,  I forgot to switch to my stand-in Collagen Coco.

Seriously, if you have joint pain then you need collagen. And you’ve either got to put it in your smoothie, which is great, or you’ve got to try this collagen cocoa which might be my favorite drink 🙂

Here’s the recipe:

1/2 cup water
1/2 cup coconut milk
2 scoops garden of life collagen powder
1 scoop Lake Champlain unsweetened cocoa
Unbleached green Stevia to taste

Add all of the ingredients in a 2 cup measuring cup and microwave until steaming hot. 

Use a frother if you have one to give it a little foam on top and enjoy!

Not only does the collagen work to almost immediately relieve joint pain in my hands and knees, but it is also awesome for your complexion your nails and your hair. Do yourself a favor and try it! I particularly like the Garden of Life collagen because it’s less expensive than Dr. Axes collagen and it is 100% grass fed.
